Privacy Policy

This is a reference translation. The Korean-language version of this Privacy Policy prevails in case of any discrepancy.

MEV (the “Company”) values your personal data and complies with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable laws.

This policy applies to the processing of personal data in connection with your use of the Company’s website (ai-mev.com, the “Site”). The processing of patient and clinical data through the medical product is governed not by this policy but by the separate hospital agreement, security policy, and the “Trust & Governance” information.

1. Personal data we collect

The Company collects the following personal data.

  • When you request a demo or contact us (entered by you): hospital name, contact name, role, email, phone, services of interest, and your message.
  • Automatically during your visit: cookies, IP address, browser and device information, visit time, and page-usage records.

2. Purposes of collection and use

  • Receiving demo and contact requests, consultation, and follow-up.
  • Analyzing site usage and improving the service.
  • Responding to and recording inquiries.

3. Retention period

  • Demo and inquiry data: destroyed without delay once the purpose is achieved; where a separate retention period is required by law, retained for that period and then destroyed.
  • Automatically collected analytics data: per Google Analytics data-retention settings (default up to 14 months).

4. Entrustment of processing and overseas transfer

To operate the service, the Company entrusts processing as below; some processors are located overseas.

  • Vercel Inc. (USA) — website hosting and infrastructure.
  • Google LLC (USA) — web analytics (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager); processing of cookies, usage records, and identifiers.
  • Resend, Inc. (USA) — email delivery for the contact/demo form.

5. Cookies and automatic collection tools

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for usage analytics, which use cookies and identifiers.

You may refuse cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Refusing cookies may limit some features.

6. Provision to third parties

The Company does not provide your personal data to third parties beyond the scope stated in this policy, except where required by law or upon a lawful request by an investigative authority.

7. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may at any time request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal data. Contact the data protection officer below in writing or by email, and we will act without delay.

8. Destruction of personal data

Personal data is destroyed without delay once the retention period expires or the purpose is achieved. Electronic files are deleted irrecoverably; printed materials are shredded or incinerated.

9. Security measures

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS).
  • Minimization of and control over access to personal data.
  • Data-protection agreements with processors.
